Ferrari has spoken about the high demand for supercars. Those who want to buy some supercars from Maranello will not receive them either this year or next: cars paid for in the first quarter of 2025 will only be delivered in 2027. According to Motor1, Ferrari's production cycle is scheduled to end in 2026. However, this only concerns supercars that are adapted to individual customer requests. The most popular 12Cilindri with a 6,5-liter naturally aspirated V12 is the successor to the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

What else is known

Not everyone will have to wait two years: Ferrari adds that this waiting period is for customers who want to buy a personalized supercar. For now, non-standard models are offered to be purchased "off-the-shelf".

Ferrari is concerned about the way some customers decorate their cars: the ability to choose unusual colors and options is giving birth to supercars that are damaging the company's image. This was said in an interview with The Telegraph by the brand's CEO Benedetto Vigna. In this regard, Ferrari is going to review the available options: for example, they will no longer paint cars pink in Maranello.

Of course, the manufacturer can't prevent customers from ordering the desired shade from third-party craftsmen. However, a customer with too extravagant taste could be blacklisted from buying a Ferrari in the future, Vigna warned. It's a bold move considering that 20 percent of Ferrari's revenue last year came from customized cars.

By the way, Ferrari's revenue in 2024 increased by 11,8 percent to 6,7 billion euros. Net profit jumped by 21 percent to 1,53 billion. But the growth in sales is small — only 0,7 percent, but this is consistent with Ferrari's conscious decision to keep production volumes below demand.
