  • onion – 4-5 bulbs;
  • tomato paste - 1,5 tablespoons;
  • sour cream (fat content 20%) – 180 g;
  • black pepper (ground) – to taste;
  • boiling water – 0,2-0,3 l;
  • lavrushka - 2 leaves;
  • allspice - 2 pieces.

Step by step preparation

  1. Cut the beef into small pieces.
  2. Pour a little oil into a frying pan and put it on the fire. After heating, put pieces of beef in the pan. It is necessary that the meat "grabs" a little. Fry the beef over high heat until golden brown.
  3. Onion can be cut into half rings and sent to the pan to the meat. Fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add tomato paste to the beef and onion and fry for another 1 minute. Then add sour cream. The addition of new ingredients is accompanied by thorough mixing.
  5. Then pour boiling water into the pan, throw in the bay leaf and allspice. Then it remains to stew the meat stroganoff-style over low heat for 20-25 minutes. At the end of cooking, remove the bay leaves from the pan and serve with a side dish.
