As experts assure, high-quality olive oil can be used as medicine and even without a doctor's prescription.
But not everyone knows how to store this natural remedy against many diseases. That is why the product often spoils or they say "gets old", which manifests itself in an unpleasant aftertaste. We will tell you in more detail later.
Where to store olive oil
First, the worst place to put a bottle of oil is near the stove, oven, or heating appliances.
It is best to store the oil in a dark and cool place, away from the sun, and be sure to close the lid tightly, avoiding the release of oxygen.
Secondly, olive oil is not stored in the refrigerator. She will freeze, but, in principle, nothing terrible will happen to him. If you leave it at room temperature, the oil will quickly regain its original shape.
What to store oil in
It is definitely better to store it in a dark glass bottle. But you can also store it in plastic water bottles, as long as you follow the correct storage conditions, then the color of the bottle won't matter.
But what you definitely can't do is leave the oil in the can - after six months, a chemical reaction can begin, and the oil can spoil.
