Many years ago, the owners of the establishment rescued a bird after it fell out of its nest, and since then they have been waiting for it with open arms and a special meal.

Every morning, as soon as the bar of the Solymar Hotel in Posada de Llanes, Asturias (Spain) opens, it is visited by Paco the crow, the most special and loyal customer of the day. The bird has been coming to the establishment for breakfast for 26 years, without missing a single day, writes 20Minutos.
The owners of the café welcome their feathered friend with open arms and a generous portion of food to give him enough energy for the day. They even have a special dish named after him. The waiters say that “the crow is one of the family.” However, Paco is one of the most demanding customers and will not settle for less.
“You give him the menu and he always chooses what he wants,” explains one of the restaurant employees.
Hotel owner Lucas Fernandez said the bird fell out of the nest and was picked up along with two others, but he was the only one who survived and has not wanted to fly away since. Fourteen years ago, Paco almost had to say goodbye to his favorite breakfast because a complaint threatened his stay at the establishment, but in the end, the authorities allowed him to stay there.
Now the bird has become a social media star after the hotel owners posted a video of it saying “Hola” in the bar. The animal can talk and is very polite, without hesitation, greeting everyone who comes in to eat. Those who know it describe it as a “phenomenon”, while those who don’t know it are moved and don’t dare to come to the restaurant.
“All my friends told me about Paco,” says one visitor.
