DS has announced the price of its flagship electric crossover No. 8. The crossover will be offered in three versions with a capacity of 230, 245 and 350 horsepower. With a boost, the peak power will be 260, 280 and 375 hp. The first two versions are front-wheel drive, the last one is with a twin-motor power plant. Such a DS N°8 takes 5,4 seconds to accelerate to “hundreds”, while the single-motor version takes 7,7 and 7,8 seconds, respectively.
Batteries for DS are made in France. The younger one has a capacity of 74 kWh, it is installed on the base crossover, Long Range – 97,2 kWh. The most long-range will be the N°8 FWD Long Range: in the combined WLTP cycle, the range is declared at 750 kilometers, and in the urban cycle, 909 km. The DS N°8 FWD and N°8 AWD Long Range indicators are 550 and 688 kilometers, respectively. The battery supports charging with a capacity of 160 kilowatts.

Externally, the “eight” stands out with an innovative “light signature”. It is formed by the illuminated DS Luminascreen grille, DS Lightblade running lights and DS Pixel Vision headlights, the modules of which are outlined by eight LEDs. The equipment includes a panoramic roof made of heat-resistant glass and DS Iris System 2.0 multimedia with a 16-inch display.

Prices for the DS N°8 in France start at €59. The FWD Long Range costs at least €200, and the all-wheel drive crossover starts at €63.
