The Alfa Romeo Junior hybrid crossover has received the Ibrida prefix. The car's powertrain combines a 1,2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which incorporates a 28 hp electric motor.
The internal combustion engine and electric motor together produce 134 hp to the front wheels, allowing the Junior Ibrida to accelerate to 100 km/h in 8,9 seconds. This is 0,1 seconds faster than the 154-horsepower Junior Elettrica. The better dynamics are likely the result of the Ibrida being 255 kg lighter than its electric “relative”.

The Ibrida hybrid also received minor visual changes: as standard, it received a wire-style radiator grille with the historic Alfa Romeo badge, rather than the flat plastic element fitted to the electric car.

The interior features black and blue fabric seats, LED lighting and two 10,25-inch screens – one for the instrument panel and the other for the infotainment system. Deliveries of the Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida hybrid crossover to the brand's showrooms will begin in the second quarter of the year.
