First, prepare a cleaning solution. To do this, heat water to a temperature of over 70°C and dissolve baking soda in it. Stir to obtain a paste of the desired consistency. Using a toothbrush, apply the paste to the seal and rub thoroughly. The brush cleans well and easily penetrates hard-to-reach areas.
Baking soda removes dirt, grease, stickiness, and odors. If your sealant has an odor, baking soda will help eliminate it. To avoid getting dirt on your floor, cover it with a towel, oilcloth, or newspapers. Remove the remaining paste with a paper towel and evaluate the result - the sealant will be much cleaner.
Once you have cleaned the entire surface of the seal, use a sponge or toothbrush to thoroughly scrub the hard-to-reach areas. Then wipe the seal with a damp cloth and wipe it dry.

If your refrigerator door is not closing properly, try to fix it. Gently bend the seal and heat it with a hair dryer to soften the rubber. Then close the refrigerator door and heat the seal again from the outside. Let it cool for 10 minutes. This will allow the seal to fit more tightly and the door will close better.
To remove mold from caulk, make a solution of 30:XNUMX vinegar and water. Apply the solution to the caulk, leave it for XNUMX minutes, then wipe it off with a damp cloth. Then wipe the surface dry. Use a hair dryer to dry the caulk completely.
To make the seal last longer, lubricate it with Vaseline after cleaning. This will help prevent it from drying out and extend its lifespan.
