Lithuanian artist and sculptor Martinas Gaubas presented the sculpture "Chuylo" in Kaunas on February 17, depicting the illegitimate president of the aggressor country Russia, Vladimir Putin, in the form of a male genital organ. This was reported by a number of Lithuanian media outlets, including LRT and Kas vysokės Kaune.

According to Gaubas, he created the sketch for the sculpture at the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The artist admitted that at the time it seemed to him that the war was about to end, but when it did not happen for three years, he decided to complete the sculpture.

Gaubas explained that from the very beginning he had conceived the sculpture as a primitive form, but at the same time it had to contain easily recognizable lines. The sculptor said that the helmet on the penis symbolizes Putin hiding in a bunker, and the tattoo on the penis is a reference to the crimes committed by the illegitimate president of the Russian Federation.

Gaubas added that the sculpture's ears and eyes are intentionally depicted disproportionately small to show that Putin sees and hears nothing. At the same time, Putin-member's nose is depicted incomparably long, symbolizing his interference "where it shouldn't be." The artist is confident that all the symbolism he used when creating the sculpture is easy to read.

According to Gaubas, his work is also a message to the population of the Russian Federation, demonstrating the hostility of Lithuanians towards Russians. The sculptor noted that in Lithuania, Russian residents are not welcome and may send Russians "after the Russian ship."

Gaubas said that people in Kaunas responded positively to the sculpture and now he intends to display it in other cities in Lithuania. After that, a vote will be held to decide what to do with the sculpture next. Gaubas even offers options to choose from – shoot it from a tank, send it to a landfill or drown it in a cesspool.
