In Argentina, the Sarandí River, which flows through the suburbs of Buenos Aires, suddenly turned red, causing concern among residents, Sky News reports.
The footage that appeared online shows a truly bizarre picture - a river with unnatural water color. However, according to local media, this is not the first time that Sarandë has been repainted.
“I’ve lived here my whole life. Today we have this red water. It was gray, it was green, it was purple, bluish… very brown,” a local resident told reporters.
According to another Argentine, one day the river turned yellow and had a sour smell.
Local ecologists have already taken samples of the red water for further study.
