Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk said he will have two more fights before retiring.
This was reported by Sky Sports, Chroniclers reports.
As noted, Usyk's last fights were against Briton Tyson Fury in May and December 2024, when he first won all 4 heavyweight belts (IBF, WBC, WBA, and WBO) and the status of absolute champion.
Then the Ukrainian defended 3 out of 4 belts, as he gave up one of them (IBF) in favor of the fight between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois, from which the latter emerged victorious.
On February 22, the fight for the IBF belt between Dubois and Joseph Parker will decide who Usyk can enter the ring with.
“I think I have two years left, one and a half. I feel great. I think I have two fights left to prepare for, no more. Just two,” said Oleksandr Usyk.
