Ukraine will be part of any negotiations with Russia to end the war, the American leader emphasized.
US President Donald Trump has assured that Ukraine will participate in negotiations with Russia to end the war. The politician said this at a briefing at the White House, Reuters reports on Thursday, February 13.
According to Trump, Kyiv will have a seat at the table of any peace talks with Russia.
"They are part of this. We will have Ukraine, and we will have Russia, and we will have other people, many people," the American leader said.
The US president was also asked whether he trusts Russian ruler Vladimir Putin.
According to the American leader, he agreed with the head of the Kremlin to begin negotiations on ending the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.
