Pope Francis, who was hospitalized a few days ago, will continue his treatment for a respiratory infection in a hospital, Vatican News reports.
"The results of examinations conducted over the past few days and today showed a polymicrobial respiratory tract infection, which led to a further change in therapy. All examinations conducted to date indicate a complex clinical picture that will require appropriate treatment in a hospital setting," the Holy See press service said in a statement.
It is noted that the general audience scheduled for February 19 has been canceled.
