The White House decided to celebrate Valentine'S Day in an unusual way. On their official account, they published a postcard addressed to illegal migrants.
Publication appeared on the page around 19:00 PM Kyiv time. At the time of writing, it has already received 7,3 million views, 134 thousand likes, and 27 thousand reposts.
The "valentine's card" features the faces of US President Donald Trump and Tom Homan, who is responsible for protecting the American borders. The card begins with the traditional lines for this holiday:
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Come here illegally –
And we will deport you."
The publication quickly gained popularity, drawing both approval from supporters of tough immigration policies and outrage from critics of the Trump administration.
One of the main points of Donald Trump's election campaign is the fight against illegal immigration. He promised to launch the "largest deportation in US history", deporting at least a million migrants who are in the country without documents every year.
