Protesters in Philadelphia and in the state capitals of California, Minnesota, Michigan, Texas, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Georgia, Texas and others marched with signs criticizing Trump and Musk, the head of Trump's new Department of Government Efficiency, as well as "Project 2025," a tough plan of action for American government and society.
The protests were the result of a movement organized online under the hashtags #buildtheresistance and #50501, which stands for 50 protests, 50 states, one day.
