A shooting at an adult school in Sweden on Tuesday, February 4, left about 10 people dead. Six more injured were hospitalized, Reuters reported.

According to law enforcement, a 35-year-old man with an assault rifle opened fire at the Campus Risbergska adult education center in the city of Örebro. According to preliminary information, the attacker acted alone and also died.

The attack killed about 10 people. Six more were injured and hospitalized.
Orebro Police Chief Roberto Eid Forest said police were not treating terrorism as a motive. However, he said the full circumstances of the incident were not yet known. An investigation into the murder, arson and use of a weapon is ongoing.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christensen said the mass shooting was the worst in the country's history. He and King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden expressed their condolences to the families of those killed in the shooting.
