In Volgograd, on the night of February 15, a series of powerful explosions were heard near an oil depot.

Russia claims that its air defenses allegedly shot down unknown drones near an oil depot in the city.

According to local residents, the explosions began at around 03:15 local time, and they also observed bright flashes in the sky. It is reported that air defenses destroyed drones that were approaching an oil depot in the Krasnoarmiysky district of the city. Explosions were also heard in the Kirovsky district and in the settlement of Krasnoslobodsk.

Later, a video appeared online in which one of the explosions was heard. It is noted that over 45 explosions were heard over the city over a period of 15 minutes, and they did not stop.

In addition, it is reported that the explosions triggered car alarms. However, according to the Russians, no serious damage has been recorded so far.
