A Chinese ship crashed in Russia
A dry cargo ship carrying 56 tons of diesel fuel, 706 tons of fuel oil, and 1000 tons of coal suffered a hole.
A Chinese ship carrying diesel fuel and fuel oil has crashed and run aground near Sakhalin, Russian media reported on Saturday, February 8.
It is noted that the incident occurred near the Russian port of Nevelsk.
According to Russian information, the dry cargo ship Ang Yang-2, carrying 56 tons of diesel fuel, 706 tons of fuel oil, and 1000 tons of coal, suffered a hole in the Nevelsk district. The ship with 20 crew members ran aground south of the port of Nevelsk.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry reports that no fuel leak has been observed, and the issue of removing the ship from the ground is currently being resolved.
However, according to preliminary data, it is not yet clear how serious the hole is, as the Chinese team cannot clearly explain the extent of the problem, and the translator, according to locals, "does not work well."
