Moscow stated that it is still too early to talk about a negotiation process on ending the war against Ukraine.
When asked whether Russia could make a halt to arms supplies to Ukraine a condition for starting negotiations, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the Kremlin has been calling for this “all these years”:
"We are saying that the supplies should be stopped, that the continuation of the conflict is related to the ongoing supplies. It's just too early to talk about any specific negotiation process."
Zakharova added that the Russian position has long been "clearly defined," and Kremlin leader Putin spoke about his vision for a settlement in June 2024.
