The precursor to the new BMW M3 electric car has been revealed before the premiere. The Cochespias.net portal has shared studio shots of the super sedan. BMW probably hoped to arrange a “planned leak”: to independently share “spy photos” and details about the electric car in order to heat up interest in the upcoming premiere.
The production M3 will inherit the design solutions of the Vision Neue Klasse concept car, and the cabin will feature the iDrive system with panoramic projection.
Although the prototype is covered with a colorful film, some solutions are already obvious. For example, you can appreciate the clever optics, the new BMW light signature, as well as unusual wheels with separate sections. On the go, such wheels look impressive, but in almost all countries such a technical solution does not comply with the regulations. As for the interior, it corresponds to the current version of the iDrive complex.
BMW representatives have repeatedly hinted that the electric M3 will develop about 1360 horsepower, and the power plant will be a four-motor. At the same time, fans of the gasoline BMW M3 should not worry: the plans are to develop two “emoks” with different types of power, but very similar design. The regular version will retain the six-cylinder 3,0-liter engine.
