Trump, citing the report of special counsel Robert Gore, said that Biden has a "bad memory"
The current president said that his predecessor "set a precedent" in 2021 when he ordered Trump himself to restrict access.
US President Donald Trump has revoked the security clearance of his predecessor Joe Biden, according to a post he published on his social media account Truth Social.
"Joe Biden has no need to continue to have access to classified information. Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden's security clearances and terminating his daily intelligence briefings," the head of state wrote.
He also stated that Biden “set a precedent” in 2021 when he instructed the Intelligence Community to cut off Trump’s own access to national security information.
The current US president, citing a report by special counsel Robert Gore, stated that Biden suffers from a "bad memory" and even in his "best years" he cannot be trusted with classified information.
"I will always protect our national security — Joe, you're fired. Let's Make America Great Again!" Trump concluded.
