The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, did not give a clear answer regarding Ukraine's role in negotiations to end the war that Russia is waging against our country.
This happened during the American leader's briefing in the Oval Office. So, journalists asked Trump whether he considers Ukraine an equal participant in the peace process. The US president avoided a direct answer.
“That’s an interesting question. I think they’re going to have to make peace. People are being killed, it’s a bad war, and I think they’re going to have to make peace. That’s what I think,” the White House chief of staff replied.
