A new wave of old-style driver's licenses exchange has begun at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Owners of laminated paper licenses or documents issued before 2013 are recommended to replace them with a modern model, informs "Auto Theme".
The procedure is as simple as possible: you can register online or via a terminal at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center. To exchange, you need a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a mark on the place of residence, an identification code, a current driver's license, and a medical certificate is not required during martial law.
The service center administrator will take photos on site, so there is no need to bring your own photos.
Exchanging a driver's license costs about 572 hryvnias (excluding bank fees). Immediately after registration, the digital version of the license will appear in "Diya" and the electronic "Driver's Cabinet". This makes using the new document even more convenient.
