The ministry's database states that the YU7 will be available in three variants, each with a different range of 670, 750 and 760 kilometres. At the same time, the electricity consumption per 100 kilometres of the journey will also differ - 16,6, 14,9 and 14,8 kilowatt-hours, respectively. It is important to note that the curb weight of the crossover for all variants will be the same and will be 2405 kilograms.

The first to hit the market will likely be the twin-engine YU7. This all-wheel drive crossover will have impressive specs: the front engine will produce 299 horsepower and the rear engine will produce 392. The top speed of this variant will be 253 kilometers per hour, slightly less than the SU7 sedan, which can accelerate to 265 kilometers per hour.

Xiaomi also plans to release a more affordable single-motor version of the YU7. This version will be equipped with a 320-horsepower engine mounted on the rear axle. The maximum speed of this version will be even lower - 240 kilometers per hour.

It is expected that sales of the YU7 in China will begin in June or July. According to preliminary data, the price of this model will start at 250 thousand yuan (which is approximately equal to 3,5 million rubles). If this information is confirmed, the YU7 can become a serious competitor for the Model Y not only in terms of its technical characteristics, but also in terms of price, because the American electric car costs from 263,5 thousand yuan (about 36,6 thousand dollars).
