After the appearance of donkeys at the front in the Russian army, the State Duma has already found an explanation and justification for this.
The donkeys were officially handed over to one of the units of the Russian occupation army by the Ministry of Defense.

The explanation for the presence of donkeys was voiced to one of the Russian propaganda resources by former lieutenant general, and now a State Duma deputy and member of the Defense Committee, Viktor Sobolev.
He stated: "There are now very great difficulties in providing units and subdivisions, including assault detachments and groups, etc., with ammunition, military-technical property, and food too. If some methods are used, in particular donkeys, horses, etc. to deliver ammunition and other property to the front, this is normal."
He also stated that there was nothing wrong with using donkeys and decided to recall the times of World War II, when some of the artillery was pulled by horses.
Sobolev also mentioned unmanned means of transportation for some reason, but stated that these ground drones are being hunted by UAVs.
Viktor Sobolev, a deputy of the Russian State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, who in March 2023 called for declaring war on Ukraine because “there are no red lines left.” This was his reaction when the Ukrainian DRG entered the Bryansk region.
