Sotheby's held its first auction in Saudi Arabia

Sotheby's auction house held its debut auction in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 8.

A total of 118 lots were sold on Saturday night for a total of about $17 million. Before the auction began, the total sales of the lots were estimated to be in the range of $16 million to $22 million.
