Ingredients:
- 400 g of pasta (horns, spirals, shells);
- 500 g minced meat (pork, beef or mixed);
- 1 bulb;
- 1 carrot;
- 3 Art. l. tomato paste;
- 20 ml of vegetable oil;
- 200 ml of broth or water;
- salt, black pepper;
- greens.
Step 1. Cooking the pasta
Bring water to a boil, add salt, and cook the pasta until al dente (this takes 7-10 minutes depending on the type of pasta). Once cooked, drain the water, leaving a little for the sauce.
Step 2. Prepare the vegetables
Cut the onion into small cubes, grate the carrots on a medium grater. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables until evenly golden brown.
Step 3. Add minced meat
Add the minced meat to the vegetables and break it into small pieces with a spatula. Fry until it changes color, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4. Prepare the sauce
Dissolve the tomato paste in the liquid and pour the mixture into the pan with the minced meat. Simmer everything together for about 10 minutes so that the sauce becomes rich and aromatic.
Step 5. Mix with pasta
Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix thoroughly with the minced meat and sauce. If the dish seems dry, add a little of the water the pasta was cooked in. Heat everything together for 2-3 minutes.

Step 6. Submission
Arrange the finished pasta with minced meat on plates, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.
Tips:
Choice of pasta: Any short type of pasta is suitable for this dish – horns, spirals, feathers or shells.
Variations with minced meat: You can use not only minced pork or beef, but also chicken, turkey, or a mixture of different types of meat.
Flavor: For extra flavor, add a pinch of dried basil, oregano, or paprika.
Vegetable additions: In addition to carrots and onions, you can add bell peppers, zucchini, or tomatoes to make the dish more filling.
Cheese: Before serving, sprinkle grated cheese over the pasta – it will melt and add a delicious creamy texture to the dish.
