
Keep your hearts in an unusual aromatic marinade of garlic and chicken egg. The marinade softens the meat fibers well and makes it very tender. You can cook any meat in it.
Chicken hearts in the oven will be ready in 30 minutes. The dish is not only tasty and aromatic, but also very beautiful.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 24 pcs. chicken hearts
- 1 pcs. chicken egg
- 3 cloves of garlic
- ground black pepper and salt to taste
Preparation:
1. Prepare the hearts on wooden skewers 30 cm long. For two portions, you need 24 hearts, 12 pieces each. on a skewer We wash the hearts well and, if there are blood clots inside, we press our fingers on the hearts and the blood is easily removed.
2. Transfer the prepared hearts to a bowl, sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper. You can add any dried herbs and spices to taste.
3. Grind the garlic on a fine grater, send it to a bowl and add a chicken egg.
4. Mix everything well with a spoon. Cover the bowl and send it to the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. This time will be enough for the meat to soften. The longer they stand in the marinade, the more tender the hearts are.
5. After 1,5 hours, soak the skewers in water and leave for 30 minutes. We take the hearts out of the refrigerator and start putting them on skewers. More hearts will fit on the sticks if they are placed so that the wide side of one heart meets the narrow side of the other.
6. We place 12 hearts on skewers and send them to a mold or to a baking sheet with oil. Put in the oven, pre-heated to 200 degrees, and bake for 30 minutes.
7. 15 minutes after the start of cooking, turn the hearts over to the other side so that they are well browned on all sides.
8. Take out tender chicken hearts on skewers, immediately transfer them to a plate or serving board, add sprigs of greens and vegetables, serve and enjoy the taste. They are fragrant, juicy and very tasty.
