Lightweight suede shoes can get dirty easily and quickly in the summer – all it takes is one drop of melted ice cream. Given the characteristics of the material and the complexity of some stains, it may seem that you can’t clean them with folk remedies – only with the help of chemicals.

- Perhaps more, you need to hold the shoes over a steam bath, and then wipe the damaged area with a dry cloth;
- On the other, you can use a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 tsp. peroxide to 1 cup of water and 1 tsp. alcohol). You need to moisten a sponge in the solution and wipe the stains on the suede surface;
- Third, you can use a mixture of tooth powder, chalk and talcum powder. It cleans greasy stains or difficult dark dirt. The powder residue is removed with a brush;
- Fourthly, 1 tablespoon of vinegar is diluted in 1 liter of water and the shoes are wiped with the prepared solution.
And finally, you can treat the stains with a mixture of ammonia and milk with the addition of 1/2 tsp. ammonia and 3 tsp. baking soda.
