More than 30 people were killed by an enemy strike with an Iskander.

The Security Service of Ukraine has reported suspicions to the former commander of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, General Alexander Dvornikov. He ordered a cruise missile strike on the Mykolaiv Regional Council building on March 29, 2022, the SBU said in a statement.

"Its launch took place from the Iskander operational-tactical missile system, which was based on the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," law enforcement officials note.

 

The SBU recalls that the Russian strike killed 36 people and injured 38 others. The occupiers also damaged apartment buildings, a children's art center, commercial facilities, and cars of civilians.
Dvornikov was informed in absentia of suspicion under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to law enforcement officers, measures are underway to bring him to justice.
