I found this old recipe and was delighted and at the same time surprised that no one is talking about it now! It's so delicious and easy to make!
Ingredients:
Cake 1:
- 3 eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 150 g sour cream 20%
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda (extinguish with vinegar)
Cake 2:
- 3 eggs
- 200 g of sugar
- 150 g of sour cream
- 270 g flour
- 30 g cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda (extinguish with vinegar)
Sour cream:
- 700 g of sour cream
- 200 g of powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp sour cream thickener
Preparation:
Cake 1:
I beat the eggs in a bowl with a mixer until white foam. I pour in the sugar and beat, then add the sour cream and beat until smooth. I sift the flour and mix with a mixer. In a separate bowl, I extinguish the soda with vinegar, add it to the dough and mix with a mixer until smooth. I leave it on the table for 10 minutes.
I spread the dough into a 20 cm diameter pan lined with parchment or sprinkled with flour. I bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
Cake 2:
I mix the chocolate cake the same way as the first cake. Only I mix the cocoa with the flour in the middle of the mixture. I let it rest and bake it in the same mold.
Sour cream:
I beat the sour cream with a mixer for about 1 minute until fluffy, then add the powdered sugar and beat. Finally, I add the sour cream thickener and beat until thick.
I cut the finished cooled cakes in half, spread all 4 with cream, and also spread the top and sides of the cake. I decorate with crumbs from the cakes. I put it in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours. Then I enjoy it with tea.
