The Russian Federation is improving its equipment based on experience gained in war and using it against NATO countries
Western analysts note that NATO countries have increasingly faced threats from Russian hybrid attacks and sabotage.
Russia is actively improving drones and electronic warfare (EW) based on the experience gained in the war against Ukraine. The Russian Federation is also using the latest technological developments in hybrid operations against NATO member states, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
Analysts note that in 2024, NATO countries increasingly faced threats from Russian hybrid attacks and sabotage.
"Reports of a NATO member state's attempts to counter alleged Russian reconnaissance drones underscore the need for further development of defense capabilities as Russia continues to leverage battlefield experience in Ukraine to create cutting-edge technologies," ISW analysts noted.
