Orban has finally fully defined his place – and it is alongside Europe's far-right leaders.

For Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, the war in Ukraine is “hopeless.” From his perspective, it is “hopeless” for Ukraine. Because Europe has to spend money on it, helping Ukraine, when it could go to those who are ready to cuddle with the Kremlin’s Fuhrer and hand over to the treasury those who don’t want to do so.

Orban posted a post on the social network X about the wrong policy of the European Union and Brussels' position on Ukraine. He wrote this while in Madrid at the summit of the far-right "Patriots for Europe", who planned to "make Europe great" - following Trump, who planned to "restore the greatness of America", but in his own way.

“Brussels bureaucrats have destroyed Europe,” Orban wrote. “The European economy is slowly sinking because of Brussels. Because of Brussels, our money is being sent to Ukraine, to a hopeless war. Because of Brussels, Europe has been flooded with migrants. Brussels has opened the gates, opened the borders for the invasion of migrants. George Soros announced: a million migrants must be allowed into Europe every year. Hello, nine million migrants have arrived in Europe in the last nine years. The invasion of migrants into Europe, the exchange of populations is not a conspiracy theory, but the practice itself. It is time to look for new conspiracy theories, because all the old ones have come true.”

As is known, the far-right summit was attended by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, as well as the informal leader of the French National Rally party Marine Le Pen and the leader of the Dutch Freedom Party Geert Wilders. They all warmly congratulated Trump on his high position. Whether Trump would consider himself far-right is an interesting question, but it seems that the participants of this event have high hopes for him and will try to change the order in Europe with his help.

As a reminder, earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban accused the European Union's executive branch of attempting to overthrow his cabinet and impose a "puppet government" on Hungary, comparing his protest to the anti-Soviet uprising of 1956, which unspeakably surprised the European Union, since his actions are much closer to Soviet authoritarianism than to freedom.

The Hungarian Prime Minister, who has repeatedly come into conflict with EU leaders, most recently stated in the European Parliament that his sovereign policy related to the war in Ukraine and migration is incompatible with Brussels.
