The new Porsche Charging Lounge has opened in the Rallstedt district of Hamburg. It offers a charging capacity of up to 400 kW, a relaxed atmosphere and centralised cost processing with the Porsche Charging Service.
A new Porsche Charging Lounge has opened next to the Porsche Approved Service Center in Hamburg's Rallstedt district. The location is located close to the A1 motorway. It not only opens up the north of Germany, but is also convenient for tourists heading to the Baltic Sea and back. All electric Porsche models can be supplied with electricity from renewable sources around the clock.

The facility includes four DC fast charging stations with a capacity of up to 400 kW. Fully electric Porsche cars can use their fast charging potential. For example, the new generation Taycan can be charged from 10 to 80% in 18 minutes.
The fast charging station in the north-east of the Hanseatic city is the fifth exclusive location. Other charging stations are located in Bingen am Rhein, Estenfeld near Würzburg, Koblach (Austria) and Ingolstadt. For the comfort of guests, the charging station is equipped with a seating area and bathrooms, and also offers coffee, a wide range of soft drinks and snacks, all complemented by high-speed Wi-Fi.

In collaboration with Studio FA Porsche, the sports car manufacturer has developed a modular concept for exclusive Porsche Charging Lounge fast charging stations. It is being implemented for the first time in Hamburg. This approach combines the uniform design language of all Porsche Charging Lounges with a design adapted to the shape of the respective facility. There is also the possibility of flexible expansion.
The foundation is made of concrete. However, this material is not used in the modules for the most part. They are mainly made of steel, stainless steel, wood and stone. Porsche's partner in Baden-Württemberg uses electricity from renewable sources. A heat pump heats and conditions the building. This is partly provided by a photovoltaic system on the roof. A digital building management system optimizes energy consumption and, for example, automatically dims the lighting when there are no guests on the premises.
