This time I wanted to make curly buns, the recipe is very simple. The filling is very tasty and unusual! You will like it!
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 50 g of live yeast
- 270 g of sugar
- 0,5 l. warm milk
- 1,150 kg. flour + 100 g for dusting the table
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 100 g butter + 200 g margarine
- 1-2 tbsp. cognac/vodka
- 1 hours. L. salt
- 2 Art. l. oil
Toppings:
- 700 g rose jam
- 300 g ground nuts
For lubrication:
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp milk
Preparation:
Dough:
First I make the dough, crumble the yeast into a bowl, add a little sugar from the total amount, pour in half the warm milk, stir. Add 5-6 tbsp. l. of flour from the total amount, mix until smooth. Cover with cling film and leave for 20 minutes in a warm place.
In a separate bowl, I mix the eggs with the remaining sugar and vanilla with a mixer. I pour this mass into the yeast after 20 minutes, when they have come up, I mix. I pour in the rest of the milk, add soft butter and margarine, pour in cognac or vodka, mix. I pour in all the flour, salt and knead the dough. I grease it with oil at the end. I cover it with cling film and leave it in a warm place to rise 2-3 times.
Toppings:
I mix the jam with ground nuts.
I divide the dough into 4 parts, roll each into a rectangular layer, spread the filling on one side in a row. Now I fold the dough in half with the other edge, pinching the dough tightly.
On the side where there is no filling, I make cuts and twist each one into a spiral. And on the side where there is filling, I twist it carefully into a roll, right up to the cuts themselves.
I put the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment. I cover them with a towel to rest for 20 minutes. I grease them with beaten egg yolks and milk. I bake them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
So soft and fragrant, delicious!
