Stains on clothes are a real problem for housewives, which they have to deal with almost every day. It is especially annoying if the thing is beloved or expensive, and the stain has formed in the most visible place. But there is one simple way that will help you cope with this nuisance without special sprays and rubbing. All you need is an iron and a paper towel.
This method is great for greasy stains (food, wax, grease, and other substances). The principle of operation is simple: the heat of the iron melts the grease and oils, and the paper towel absorbs them. As a result, the stain literally evaporates from the fabric, leaving it clean. Below we will tell you step by step how to do everything correctly without damaging the fabric.

To remove the stain, place the garment on an ironing board. Place paper towels on top and bottom of the stained area. Then, heat your iron to medium heat (no steam) and gently run it over the top towel. The heat will help soften the grease, and the paper will quickly absorb it. If the stain is large or old, replace the towels with clean ones and repeat the process.
This method also works for candle wax stains. If there is wax left on the fabric, first remove it with the blunt side of a knife or a plastic card, and then use an iron and a towel. For colored wax, you can repeat the procedure several times until the paper stops absorbing the dye. The main thing is not to overdo it with the temperature.

This method is suitable for many types of fabrics, but we recommend testing it on an inconspicuous area of the garment before processing. Some synthetic materials may not respond well to high temperatures. If the fabric is delicate, lower the temperature and work with quick, light movements to avoid damage. All information about the fabric is on the label inside the product.
It is also worth remembering that this method is only effective for grease or wax stains. If you are dealing with coffee, wine or ink stains, it is better to use other methods. We wish you success!
