Drowsiness can often occur at the most inappropriate time for it. Many people immediately begin to sin on fatigue, lack of sleep and other reasons. However, food can also induce sleep.
Nutritionists do not recommend eating "wrong" salads that contain several types of vegetables. In their opinion, such salads cannot fill the balance of substances in the body, so soon you may feel hungry, tired and sleepy. Many dietary salads do not contain proteins and fats necessary for the normal functioning of all body systems.
Coffee is often the cause of drowsiness, as many people drink this drink incorrectly. The secret is that caffeine strongly dehydrates the body. Immediately after a cup of coffee, you need to drink several glasses of water to replenish your water balance.
A geneticist told about another trick of coffee.
"There are special receptors in the human brain that capture caffeine. There are four types of them: two stimulating, invigorating – like a gas pedal, the other two – like a brake pedal. In most people, "inhibitory" receptors prevail. When such a person drinks coffee, the brake is blocked by caffeine, and the brain starts to work faster. A person becomes cheerful. In a smaller proportion of people, the ratio of receptors is the opposite: there are more "gas" than "brake" receptors. In this case, caffeine blocks precisely the stimulating receptors. As a result, after a cup of coffee, the work of the brain slows down, people begin to feel sleepy, tired, and temporarily lose energy," says the doctor.
It has long been known that the consumption of sweets is too energy-consuming for the body. To stabilize the level of glucose, the body begins to produce insulin, and this is a very time-consuming process that leads to drowsiness.
