KG Mobility, formerly known as SsangYong, has officially unveiled the Musso EV electric pickup truck. The new model is the first car under the brand's electric sub-brand Musso. The novelty is also the first electric pickup truck from the Korean automaker.
The Musso EV borrows design cues from the Torres EVX SUV, but has a longer body and an open cargo area. It comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels and a roof rack.

The dashboard is expected to be almost identical to that of the Torres EVX, with two 12,3-inch displays. Equipment includes an Alpine audio system, intelligent adaptive cruise control, and a 3D surround view system.
The new Musso EV is powered by a single electric motor that produces 204 hp. In the basic configuration, all power is transmitted to the front wheels, and optional all-wheel drive is also available for the car.

The electric vehicle is powered by an 80,6 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery from Chinese automaker BYD. KGM claims that the 2WD version can travel up to 401 km on a single charge. The KGM Musso EV is already available for order in South Korea. In the domestic market, the pickup truck costs from $ 33.
