In February 2025, the British agency Brand Finance published its annual report on the value of automotive brands, in which Toyota topped the list, ahead of Mercedes and Tesla. This was reported by UAmotors.
Who entered the rating?
According to the study, Toyota achieved a valuation of $64,7 billion thanks to a successful strategy of introducing hybrid technologies and optimizing production processes, despite rising raw material prices.
Tesla, which lost 26% of its previous value, fell to third place with a valuation of $43 billion, facing increased competition and lower prices, especially in the Chinese market.
Mercedes also suffered a downturn, losing 11% of its value and now valued at $53 billion due to failures to meet financial targets and a slowdown in the Chinese market.
Ferrari showed the highest brand value growth of 36%, reaching $14,4 billion, thanks to a unique product strategy and strong demand in the global market.
The brand actively engages with the public through sponsorship in Formula 1, premium collaborations, and a focus on hybrid technologies, which contributes to its sustainable development.
The list of the best 24 also included XNUMX Chinese brands, among which BYD took first place among Chinese manufacturers, showing significant growth in the industry.
