Doctors believe that baldness in men can be provoked not only by genetics, but also by the wrong headdress. Cleveland Clinic trichologists told about how to wear and choose a hat so that it does not disrupt the natural growth of hair.
Baldness and alopecia can be caused by a headdress that is too tight and damages the hair follicles. At the same time, experts categorically do not recommend giving up hats in the cold season. Frosty and windy weather in winter seriously affect the condition of men's hair.
Trichologists recommend choosing clothes made of natural materials, while it is necessary to monitor their cleanliness. Dirty caps are often the cause of dandruff and inflammatory processes on the scalp. As noted by Dr. Yoram Benita from the Hair Clinic in Israel, synthetic headgear that blocks the access of oxygen to the follicles is very dangerous. As a result, the skin does not breathe, and the head begins to sweat, and it all ends with hair loss, seborrhea, fungus and allergic reactions.
It is also undesirable to wear hats with leather inserts and elastic bands on the back of the head.
Experts recommend not to forget about regular washing of hats. At the same time, it should be remembered that hats should be not only clean, but also comfortable.
