What is known about the novelty
Recently, a prototype of the new 4 Toyota RAV2026 crossover was caught by photo spies on road tests in the United States. These images were used by the foreign automotive portal Carscoops to create independent renders of the new product. At the same time, the publication shared some interesting details.
The 4 Toyota RAV2026 crossover will retain the familiar TNGA-K architecture, while the platform has been improved for the updated version. The Japanese promise that the model has increased its impact resistance to meet the requirements of IIHS crash tests.
The new model will also receive an upgraded multimedia system with cooler graphics and support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa. Premium options will appear in the list of available options. For example, a head-up display, lighting, a panoramic sunroof and much more. The Japanese, according to rumors, may abandon the one and a half liter turbo engine. It seems that the emphasis will be on a hybrid transmission.
According to preliminary data, the updated crossover will use a 2,5-liter four-cylinder engine in conjunction with two electric motors with a capacity of 232 hp. This is a front-wheel drive SUV. The all-wheel drive version will additionally receive a rear electric motor.
