Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to meet with US President Donald Trump in Washington to request weapons to strike Iran's nuclear facilities, Axios writes, citing its sources.

According to the publication, Trump and Netanyahu are expected to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue. In particular, Trump said that he would try to make a deal with Iran, thanks to which Israel would not need to carry out such strikes.

At the same time, the Israeli Prime Minister would like to have guarantees from Trump that he will provide him with the weapons necessary to attack Iran's nuclear facilities if the negotiations fail.

“The issue of normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia will also likely be raised. For Trump and Netanyahu, a peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia is paramount,” the publication emphasized.
