These incredible mini chicken pies will become favorites on your table. They are very easy to prepare and will work the first time. Instead of chicken, you can use any other filling that you like (egg, cabbage, apple, etc.), because the dough from this recipe is perfect for any pie.
Actually, you should start with the dough. Pour 515 g of flour and 10 g of baking powder into a bowl. Mix everything well. After that, pour 15 g of salt and 10 g of sugar into the bowl and mix again with a whisk. Add one pack (180 g) of butter to the flour. It must be soft, so take it out of the refrigerator a few hours before cooking. If you forgot to do this, put the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Also add 2 large eggs and 200 g of sour cream with a fat content of 20%. Start kneading the dough with a silicone spatula or spoon. When it becomes difficult to mix, continue to do it by hand. Of course, if you have a planetary mixer, you can transfer this work to it. But even with your hands, you will only have to knead it a few times. After that, you need to put it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator.
After that, you can proceed to preparing the filling. Usually, chicken fillet is used for pies. But it will also be delicious with other meat. You need to take 400 g of meat and cut it into cubes. You also need 400 g of potatoes and onions (the weight of already peeled vegetables). The potatoes should also be cut into medium cubes, and the onions into small ones. Add the potatoes to the chicken, but pour the onions into a separate bowl to add spices.
Ideally, this dish will go well with 1.5 teaspoons of salt, half a teaspoon each of black pepper and chili, as well as 2/3 teaspoon of ground cumin in a mortar. Add all this to the onion and rub it a little with your hands. Then add the onion to the meat and potatoes, add 20 g of oil and mix everything.

Form circles of dough with diameters of 15 and 10 cm. Place the filling on the larger one, and use the smaller one to cover the pie on top. Bake the formed pies at 180°C for 35-40 minutes. Keep an eye on the top, it should become nicely browned.
