Leonard has a long list of accomplishments and skills on his resume. In December 2023, he set a record for the most basketball shots made in one minute.
6-year-old Leonard is often called the “smartest” dog in the world. The border collie can play baseball, ride horses, balance on a book on his head, and paint “masterpieces,” much to the delight of his owner and trainer, Teresa from Virginia (USA).

The Guinness Book of Records website writes more about this pet.
A long list of achievements
Leonard has a long list of achievements and skills on his resume. In December 2023, he set a record for the most basketball shots made in one minute — 22. And a year later, he covered the greatest distance in one minute while balancing a book on his head — 17,30 m.
"He loves balls and loves to bring them. At first we dreamed of one record - that was great, and now that we've broken the second one, it's even better. Who knows what awaits him in the future," says 48-year-old Teresa.
Likes to swim and draw
The owner calls her pet an amphibian dog because he loves to swim. In addition, the dog has learned to draw and has already participated in several auctions, raising money for animals who are less fortunate in life. Leonard's works have reached international level, once they were even exhibited at the Southwark Park Gallery in London (Great Britain).
The record holder has appeared on television many times. Viewers have seen him on the shows "America's Got Talent," "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," and in commercials for various brands.
