Finland's Foreign Ministry said on Monday that it had summoned the Russian ambassador to Helsinki, Pavel Kuznetsov, to obtain an explanation for an alleged violation of the country's airspace that occurred last Friday.

"It is suspected that the Russian plane flew in Finnish airspace for several minutes," the agency said.
The ministry added that the Finnish Border Guard is currently investigating the incident and will provide additional information during the investigation.
