Starting today, February 10, a new electronic service for early notification of the use of plant protection products will be available in the State Agrarian Register for business entities as part of the launch of the first stage of "E-Beekeeping".
This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, reports Inshe TV.
According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, the main task of the "E-Beekeeping" service is to help beekeepers protect bees from poisoning and organize controlled bee pollination. The service contains instructions for farmers on using tools to prevent the use of plant protection products and information on bee pollination sites.
Thanks to the early warning service about the use of plant protection products, farmers will be able to:
– Keep a journal of land treatment with plant protection products (PPP);
– Submit an application to find a beekeeper to place an apiary;
– Choose a beekeeper from the list of those who have offered their services;
– Select the period for the planned processing of pesticides;
– Select the PPE from the register;
– Select the land plots that are planned to be cultivated;
– Inform local governments on whose lands it is planned to process pesticides;
– Inform beekeepers whose apiaries are located within an 8-kilometer radius of the cultivated areas;
– Automatically calculate the recommended number of bee colonies per area of plots sown with the selected type of crop.
In turn, beekeepers will have the opportunity to:
– Integrate DAR with the beekeepers' registry;
– Set the geolocation of the apiary;
– Send a beekeeper's response to requests from farmers;
– Submit an application to search for farmers who need pollination;
– Choose the type of crop to be grown;
– Select land plots on which the crop is grown.
The new electronic service is fully integrated with other systems, such as the State Register of Pesticides and Agrochemicals Allowed for Use in Ukraine, the Register of Apiary Passports, the Trembita system, and also interacts with local governments through the connection of messaging services.
