Musk is not going to buy TikTok
The entrepreneur stated that he did not apply to purchase the application and has no plans to do so.
American billionaire Elon Musk said he is not interested in buying the TikTok app, which was previously wanted to be banned in the United States for national security reasons. This was reported by Bloomberg on Saturday, February 8.
"I did not apply to buy TikTok. I have no plans for what I would do if I owned TikTok," the publication quotes Musk as saying.
According to the billionaire, he personally does not use this application.
“I usually build companies from scratch,” said Musk, who owns the social network X, which he previously acquired (formerly Twitter).
Trump reportedly said he was in talks with several interested parties about a possible acquisition of TikTok. He later said Microsoft Corp. was interested in buying the social network.
