Lexus has officially unveiled an updated version of its flagship LX SUV. The 2025 model has lost its basic equipment and significantly increased prices. At the same time, the car has received an expanded package of safety systems and technological improvements. This is reported by Motor1.com.
The updated Lexus LX features the advanced Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 driver assistance system. It includes adaptive cruise control with traffic sign recognition, a collision avoidance system, emergency maneuvering assistance, and an updated blind spot monitoring system.

The main novelty is the Lexus LX700h - the first hybrid version of the model. It is equipped with a 3,4-liter twin-turbocharged V6, an electric motor and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid powertrain produces 457 hp and provides better fuel efficiency compared to previous gasoline versions.

The SUV has an improved all-wheel drive system that improves handling on difficult road surfaces. Engineers have also worked on the cabin's soundproofing, making it even more comfortable. New trim materials, including premium leather and natural wood trim, add luxury to the car.

The 2025 Lexus LX lineup includes two versions – the LX600 and LX700h, each available in multiple trim levels. The new model is expected to become a serious competitor in the premium SUV market, competing with models such as the Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
The cost of the updated Lexus LX has not yet been disclosed, but experts predict that it will increase compared to previous generations. Sales of the SUV will start in 2025, and the first deliveries are expected closer to the middle of the year.
