The Hyundai Palisade full-size crossover lineup will soon be expanded with a new modification. This is the sporty XRT version, which is already available for the Ioniq 5, Tucson, Santa Cruz and Santa Fe models, reports Autocenter.
What is known about the new Palisade XRT?
Prototypes of this crossover have been spotted during winter testing and in underground parking lots. They are covered in dense camouflage with additional elements that mask the contours of the body. Judging by the photos, the Palisade XRT will look more aggressive than the standard version, thanks to:
- Massive plastic body kit;
- Updated bumpers;
- New 18-inch wheels with Continental Cross Contact tires.
Interior and cabin features
Auto spies managed to take a look inside the new model. Under the camouflage cape, you can see the seats with updated trim and the XRT logo on the headrests. It is known that this version of the Palisade will have nine-seat saloon, making it one of the most spacious crossovers in its class.
Engineers also increased the wheelbase to 2970 mm, and the total length of the car will exceed 5 meters, which will provide even more space for passengers and luggage.
Engines and specifications
According to preliminary information, the Hyundai Palisade XRT will receive turbocharged 2,5-liter four-cylinder engine power 281 k.s. In addition, for those seeking greater economy, there will be available hybrid option with return 334 k.s.
Premiere date
Hyundai Palisade XRT official debut expected in the second half of 2025, but the exact date remains unknown. The automaker promises to reveal more details closer to the presentation.
