On February 3, an unusual aerial procession took place over Ryazan – Instead of air defense systems, Russian priests decided to protect the city with prayers. As reported Russian mass media, this should have helped from Ukrainian drones.
What happened
The clergy, together with representatives of various departments, took to the sky on a plane, taking with them Icon of the Mother of God “The Sign”, fragments of the relics of Saints Nicholas the Wonderworker and George the Victorious, fragment of the Life-giving Cross of the Lord.
This ritual was timed to 80th victory in the Great Witness War, which, according to the organizers, was supposed to add additional “divine” power.
