The Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a sabotage at a Russian plant for the production of radio-electronic systems

Two such complexes were burned down.

The department's press service reported this on February 17.

During the GUR sabotage, two such complexes were burned, which the Russians planned to send to the front in Ukraine.

The GUR showed a video showing the burning of two trucks on a KamAZ chassis, which are part of the “Zhitel” complex.

What is known about the R-330Zh “Zhitel” electronic warfare systems?

Back in 2022, the Ukrainian portal Defense Express wrote that the R-330Zh “Zhitel” electronic warfare systems could be classified as “valuable equipment” of the Russian army.

The complex is designed for automated detection, direction finding and analysis of radio signals. It can also jam portable and mobile ground stations of INMARSAT and Iridium satellite communications, as well as equipment of GPS signal consumers.

The Russians themselves previously stated that this complex is supposedly capable of intercepting and suppressing drone control channels.
